COVID-19 Response
The entire team at the Edgewater Hotel & Waterpark looks forward to hosting you and your family in a safe and clean environment. We are actively monitoring CDC, WHO, and Minnesota Department of Health guidelines on safety and cleanliness guidelines. We have modified a wide variety of our normal processes to uphold our commitment to following these guidelines.
Our “TIKI Clean & Safe!” program follows the guidelines set forth by the AmericInn Hotel Lodging Association and follows industry standards closely.
“Tiki Clean & Safe!” will be visible with additional hand sanitizing stations, plenty of soap available in rooms and public bathrooms, and lots of employees wearing masks – but we are also monitoring the health of our team to keep you safe. We hope you will join us in being vigilant in staying healthy – following appropriate social distance guidelines and wearing masks in our public spaces if you wish.
We have increased the frequency of our cleaning and disinfecting procedures, especially in high touch areas in our rooms and our public spaces. Our team is committed to doing everything possible to reduce the chance of any sort of transmission of COVID-19.
As for our Waterpark – the CDC has noted that there is no evidence at this time that COVID-19 can be spread by using pools and hot tubs or other water features. Our team works very hard every day to ensure we are properly operating, maintaining, and disinfecting our pools and spas. Our robust procedures are driven by industry guidelines that should inactive any virus including the virus that causes COVID-19. Chlorinated water is everywhere helping inactivate any virus.
We also follow all Food Service guidelines to ensure your food and beverages are safe for consumption and still as tasty as ever! We hope you have a chance to enjoy a meal following proper social distancing guidelines in our public seating areas or enjoy your meal in your guestroom.

You must follow all posted instructions or general guidelines while visiting the Edgewater Hotel & Waterpark. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting the Edgewater Hotel & Waterpark, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
